Established in late 1993, C. and S. srl started producing few models of bumper cars in Summer 1994 and since then it has steadily widened its range of products and increased its presence on the market.
Today C. and S. catalogue displays 8 full-size models, two of which are equipped with still popular dampening chassis, 6 medium-size models with 3 new models in the making, 3 mini-size models with a fourth one re-cently completed for an overseas amusement park.
Bumper cars remains the core business of C. and S., which is supplying them not to amusement parks only but to travelling showman across Europe, with a significant presence in Southern Spain and, of course, Italy. To expand production to track for bumper cars was a natural evolution of C. and S. activity.
Starting from just one piece in 1996, in 2008 C. and S. delivered 12 in-door tracks of various size and shape, running either big, medium and mini cars. All these track were exported and installed in countries as far as United Arab Emirates, Russia and United Kingdom, to mention just a few.
During the decade 2000-2010 C. and S. was also involved in projects other than bumper cars.
- In 2000 it produced two big trains on rails for one of the largest amusement park in Italy, Gardaland. Two diesel-hydraulic engines, two coaches adapted to load wheelchairs and ten regular coaches are since then I operation on the 1 km long rail of Gardaland Express.
- In 2006 a family ride called “Las Llamas” was delivered to Parque Isla Magica in Seville, Spain. Las Llamas features 8 electrically powered fibreglass Llamas, in real-life size, each one able to carry on its saddle 1 adult and 1 children. This family ride proved very successful carrying more than 170.000 passengers in its opening season.
In the pipeline for 2010 are a new midi bumper car for an amusement park in Russia and several indoor tracks with themed midi cars for Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia indoor centres.
To keep its international contacts C. and S. is a regular exhibitor at EAS – The annual Euro Amusement Show , the DEAL Show in Dubai and the RAAPA show in Moscow.
