DEAL, short for Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure show formerly known as Theme Parks and Fun Centers Show brought together nearly 200 international companies from over 30 different countries. This arena sported a mind blowing 23 main categories which flawlessly covered nearly 90 sub categories of Entertainment, Amusement & Leisure facilities.
This exclusive trade event catered to the entire network of manufacturers, suppliers and distributors in the mainstream Amusement industry side by side catering to emerging markets within the region such as real estate, design, retail developers, consultants and last but not least the major players defending the title of Leisure and Entertainment, attended both as exhibitors and visitors.
ASI - Amusement Services International, the largest and main representatives for SEGA for the Middle East region dominated the stage with a mind boggling 434 sq meters of stand space which occupied a very large percentage of the arena.
The need for more stand space this year was more apparent than ever, with the variety of equipment we exhibited, aside from the fact that we displayed the largest collection of amusement machines the industry has ever seen at this show; representing companies such as SEGA, Bay-Tek, NAMCO, Sam Billares, Intercard, Disney-Merkur and many more leading manufacturers within the industry. There was no doubt that we were the biggest… displaying a staggering 103 amusement machines which included attractions, such as the UFO Stomper which boasted the one of a kind interactive flooring system. This attraction, along with our exclusive, hand picked line up of products such as the new “Let’s Go Jungle – Theater Style”, Hummer, Sea wolf, UFO catcher, Mini Rider 2 and other show stoppers, adding to our dazzling array.
This event awarded an excellent opportunity to interact and build lasting relationship with several new and existing long-term customers in leading Leisure and Amusement facilities from around the world. This year, although the attendance was comparatively less than the previous years the quality of prospective leads we received was in fact overwhelming. Considering the 20 – 25 percent annual industrial growth in Leisure and entertainment it's likely that this figure will increase dramatically in the near future.
This indeed can be defined as the successful sequel to last year’s DEAL.
