Sue Kemp has been appointed Divisional Director for Merlin Entertainment’s popular family theme park - LEGOLAND Windsor – with effect from May 1st. Sue was previously General Manager of another Merlin attraction, Warwick Castle, for the last 3 years where she achieved great success including overseeing the successful launch of the new Warwick Dungeon last year.

mber 2002 initially as Operations Director for Warwick, responsible for the day to day running of the Castle and its events, then moving to a similar role at Alton Towers before returning to the Castle as General Manager.
Commenting LEGOLAND Parks Managing Director
John Jakobsen said that there has been a great deal of interest in this exciting role since it came vacant in January of this year from both internal Merlin candidates and external applicants of the very highest calibre. ‘In my view this is one of the most exciting roles in the UK attractions sector at the moment with the opportunities presented by 2012 coming up fast, and a new hotel in development on the Park. Sue has a great deal of experience in managing attractions profitably, but most importantly in working closely with the Park team to deliver high levels of service to our visitors. LEGOLAND Windsor’s superb location close to a Royal Park and close to Central London also presents both challenges and opportunities, and I know Sue believes strongly in working closely with the local community to mutual benefit. I am confident she will be a great asset to both the Park and the Windsor area.’
