Dream Island Indoor Waterpark opens in Kiev, Ukraine. Located on the third floor of Dream Town Shopping Mall in the Kiev (Kyiv), Dream Island is the largest indoor waterpark in Ukraine. The waterpark, located between two metro stations, Minskaya and Geroyev Dnepra, opened on July 15th, 2011.

New Ukrainian Indoor Waterpark is a Dream Come True!

This unique indoor park covers about 25, 000 square meters and has a capacity for about 3,500 people.  Once you enter the park you feel that you have been transported to a "Lost World". The Jurassic theme throughout the park is impeccable with prehistoric animals and wild plants.

Riders have the choice of 14 waterslides, 5 especially themed pools and 9 types of saunas. The park holds parties during the weekends and visitors always have many activities to choose from. There are also many attractions for the kids including an interactive water play area, an aqua tower, a fish aquarium, water slides and other attractions.  The waterslides and all water play attractions were completely developed, designed and supplied by Polin Waterparks and the park is open year-round and seven days a week.

Sila Gokalp, Architect, Polin said "We faced some design challenges in the creation of the park. Due to the existing rectangular shape of the building, all the waterslides had to start above the building and enter through the roof. The new waterslides were then designed using the existent building supports but in the end everyone was happy!"

Hakan Koseoglu from Polin adds: "In addition to all, all the slides at the park are RTM (Resin Transfer molding) manufactured. These slides offer more since they add value to the general appearance of the park with its smooth and perfectly shiny finish on both sides and its newly designed forms. It is especially more important if it is an indoor waterpark!"

Dream Island Makes a Splash!

Dream Island contains some of the most exciting and a gaggle of nearly every type of water slides available, all designed by Polin. Namely, Body Slide, Multi Slide, Freefall, Black Hole, Flying Boats, Rafting Slide, Space Boat, Turbolance, Aquatube, Space Hole, Tunnel Freefall,, Wide Slide. The kids animation in the park are namely Octopus Slide, Aquatower Type-310, Obstacle Track, & Iceberg.

Turbolance, allows riders experience a steep/big drop down and then they are propelled uphill vertically. Then they experience another unforgettable path this time a reverse path taking them over a bump and ending into a splash pool. Space Hole is an exciting ride for speed riding. Riders should be ready to experience a fast ride that uses centrifugal force. Body Slide is a very versatile open slide that promises a safe, smooth ride and is ideal for everybody. Unlimited design configuration makes body slide one of the most preferred slides in a facility. Multislide is a slide where you can slide down with a standard mat or with your bathing suit. This interactive slide will make the patrons of the park enjoy the joy of head to head action and offers a waterslide path of six lanes. At the park you will also find the Black Hole, Polin' s largest and most popular enclosed tube, and Flying Boats a rollercoaster-style ride where riders go uphill on jetted water. Another slide worth trying is the Tunnel FreeFall, which offers one of the most exciting drops along with the maximum safety.
