In April 2011 Walibi Holland began the new season with a number of new and upgraded attractions, which will draw many visitors back to the park. Visitors will enjoy the cheerful and cosy atmosphere, caused by the numerous attractions for the youngest and the oldest and everyone in between.

The renewals includes
:• The new area of Walibi Play Land
• The theming of the new restaurant “Club W.A.B.”
• Re-styling of The Super Swing
• Transformation of the former Italy area into W.A.B. Plaza
• Facelifts of two themed areas and the entrance of the park
One of the companies taking care for all these renewals and upgradings was Jora Vision of Rijnsburg, The Netherlands, a very innovative company within theming of leisure parks.
New ambiance and characters
During the summer of 2010 Jora Vision prepared, together with Walibi owner Compagnie des Alpes, the final application of the design concepts.
Compagnie des Alpes developed a new “character univers” for all Walibi parks in Europe: Walibi Holland, Walibi Rhône-Alpes, Walibi Sud-Ouest and Walibi Belgium.
The kangaroo Walibi, the main character of these parks got a complete make over and is now perceived by the 8- 12 years olds as a modern, nowadays pal.
With his close friends the cheetah Haaz, the gorilla Zenko, and Fibi, the water nymph, Walibi has founded a band named Walibi’s Adventure Band (W.A.B), fighting for supremacy over “The Skunx”, the band of his twin brother Squad. Children immersing themselves in the Walibi World experience all kind of adventures and surprises. Music plays an important role in this exciting set up.
Walibi Play Land
Jora Vision is also one of the companies responsible for design and construction of the new area Walibi Play Land. In this area young children will find over ten attractions, especially designed and built for them. All these attractions are linked to the new characters of the Walibi universe and each attraction tells its own story. With their part of the restyling of the park and the development of attractions, Jora Vision once again gives an important contribution to one of the largest leisure parks in Holland.
