On the heels of signing two enormous stunt show projects in China, Mirage Entertainment will be attending the IAAPA 2008 Asian Attractions Expo for the first time. Earlier this year, Mirage signed with both OCT Chengdu and OCT East for two significant shows, both scheduled to open October 1st of this year.
“With the popularity and success of ‘Danger Island’ at Chimelong Paradise, as well as our new Asian projects, we felt compelled to attend IAAPA in Macau,” reports Mirage President and CEO, Brad Billington.
Mirage currently produces “The Great Diamond Heist” at Discovery Kingdom in Dalian and “Danger Island” at Chimelong Paradise in Guangzhou. It is the third year for Discovery Kingdom and Phase II for Chimelong Paradise.
The two new shows, both for the OCT organization, are large-scale, live-action productions. “The Pirate Princess” is a pirate stunt show featuring divers and swashbucklers in the new OCT Chengdu wave pool. “The Flood of Mandrill Mountain” is a live action disaster show at the new park in Shenzhen. Both shows promise non-stop action and Hollywood-quality special effects.
Mirage will be exhibiting in booth #1250 at the Venetian Macao Resort, Macau S.A.R. The show runs from July 16 through 18.
