This Summer, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk has received national recognition and accolades. Mirage Entertainment’s Amazing Chinese Acrobats, among the other acts in its line-up, helped the Boardwalk appear on Travel & Leisure magazine's list of the "World's Best Free Stuff." Forbes named the Boardwalk to its list of the "Ten Best Boardwalk Arcades."
The show, which combined contemporary theatrics, an upbeat, Asian score and traditional Chinese culture closed for the season today. It featured Contortionists, Jugglers, Chair-Balancing, Tumblers, Martial Artists, a Family Bicycle act, Chinese Poles and Lion Dogs.
Marq Lipton, Vice President of Marketing for the Boardwalk reflects on Summer attendance, "Families are looking for something fun and affordable to do within a couple of hours' drive. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has been providing great value for Bay Area families for more than a century."
