Focus on smaller galleries pays off in current economic climate
The 2012 EAG in London was an exceptionally good show for the world’s leading supplier of electronic shooting galleries. Pan Amusements’ strategic decision to focus on smaller galleries and their new midway game was a big hit with customers.

Pan Amusement exhibited their 3-gun and 4-gun galleries, Sideshow and Professor Coggins, as well as Clownin’ Around, a 2-player water game. Clownin’ Around was also featured on both the SEGA and Crown stands. The games received an enthusiastic response, showing that in the current economic climate operators are looking for a faster return on a smaller investment with more versatile amusements.
Even though the larger galleries were not on show Pan Amusements still received numerous enquiries and sold an 8-gun Repair Shop to an attraction in Iraq.
Pan Amusement’s Managing Director Paul Whittaker says, “Our expansion both in the type of location served and the range of products we offer means that we have been able to build sales in times of general economic difficulty.”
