Aquafantasy Waterpark, Izmir, Turkey has installed two new Polin waterslides in celebration of their 10th year. The attraction, part of the Aqua Fantasy Hotel and Spa, is built on 45 acres of land and located in the ancient city of Selcuk on the Aegean coast. The new waterslides, Family Rafting Slide and Wave Slide were designed, manufactured and installed 
by industry leaders Polin.

The new slides are L-RTM (Light-Resin Transfer Moulding) manufactured and are part of Polin’s Extreme Slide Series, which differ from their other collections in that they provide a distinctive ride path and design.
Polin installed the Family Rafting Slide in May 2010 and say that the waterslide is the longest family slide in the world at 222 metres long. In addition to being a high capacity ride, Polin point out the importance of family orientated rides to any waterpark attraction, since the fun can be shared by the whole family. The Family Rafting Slide consists of inflatable, circular rafts which can take 2-4 people and has a flexible design configuration, which can be altered to suit differing park layouts.
At Aquafantasy, a conveyor system is employed to launch the rafts and the RTM manufacture means that the attraction looks good, as well as being smooth and shiny both inside and out.
The other new slide to arrive at Aquafantasy is Polin’s Wave Slide, a high-speed, uphill ride, which is ideal for the more adventurous family or individual. Wave Slide gives riders the impression of free falling, first treating them to a plunging ‘big drop’ before propelling riders vertically uphill.
Designed with maximum safety in mind, Wave Slide riders are then taken on a thrilling reverse journey which delivers the ultimate in heart-stopping, adrenaline-pumping ride performance.
