Polin, one of the leading companies in the design, manufacturing and installation of water parks, water slides and water play attractions, is proud to announce that one of their Twister Racer waterslides will be opening mid-August in Aqualand Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Spain.

This Twisted Racer waterslide, the first in Europe, is a combination of Polin’s popular Twister waterslide with a head-first mat racer multi-lane slide. Riders get to experience two rides in one, starting with an enclosed twister slide that then transforms into a high speed multi racer water ride. This high capacity, high speed mat racer ride is available in configurations of 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 lanes.
Aqualand Costa Adeje’s Twister Racer is built using Polin's closed molded RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology. This gives the slide a perfectly shiny finish on both sides. The Twister Racer also includes Polin's patented Natural Lights Effects technology on all four slides.

Aqualand, part of the Aspro Group, is the biggest waterpark chain in Europe with 20 waterparks in France, Portugal, Finland, Switzerland and Spain. Aqualand Costa Adeje, founded in 1985, covers around 55,000 square meters and includes eight rides for the adrenaline seekers, four rides for the Kidzworld, two family fun rides and two rides for their "Chill out & Play" area.
Polin’s Twisted Racer is the latest of many water rides that Polin has provided for Aqualand waterparks. Polin were retained by Aqualand Bassind'Arcachon and Aqualand St. Syr. Sur Mer to provide two unique rides for their waterparks in 2011. Aqualand Waterpark’s owners, Aspro Group, the largest operator of leisure parks and centers in Europe, have now chose Polin as their water park supplier for this year’s wider expansion plans covering five waterparks in France and Aqualand Costa Adeje in Spain.
