avelling exhibition "Bees - Nature's Hidden Heroes" will premiere at the Odysseum in Cologne, Germany on April 1rst, 2010 right on time when bees start visiting the first buds of spring.
In the International Year of Biodiversity, "Bees - Nature's Hidden Heroes" draws special attention to the important contribution of the tiny pollinators. Interactive fun and impressive exhibits tell about the life of the bees, their meaning as pollinators and their use for mankind. Among others, the "Rowing Bee" exhibit promises special fun, engaging kids to explore the amazing flying abilities of the bee in direct contest. Visitors can experience the real feel of standing in the midst of a swarm of bees with the "Beekeeper's Experience"and also meet Kayapó Indians.
"This exhibition is an explorative adventure especially for children and offers lots of interesting facts to discover. It fits wonderfully to Odysseum since it puts exploration and experimentation at the forefront", says Thomas Puy-Brill, manager of the SMG Science Center Services Köln GmbH about the premiere.
