Mirage’s long-running Movie Magic attraction is undergoing a creative re-imagining for installation at the new Chinawood theme park in Wuxi, China, expected to open in October 2011. The new and improved 10,000 square foot Movie Magic studio will utilize the latest concepts in interactive, motion-capture film technology to amaze and thrill audiences by allowing them to participate in a slick, Hollywood-style, blockbuster movie production.
Combining 3-D mapping, motion-capture, augmented-reality visual effects and 4-D theatrical elements with live acting, the new Movie Magic attraction will put park guests right into the picture, as they both watch and star in their own Hollywood spectacular, mega-effects oriented, sci-fi motion picture. Eye-popping starships, fantastical robots and futuristic weaponry will thrill audience members of all ages as they become the heroes, heroines and villains of the big screen and discover the high-tech secrets of today’s most impressive, state-of-the-art visual effects.
