WhiteWater West, the global leader in waterpark design, engineering, manufacturing and installation, has been retained to supply and manufacture 12 of the 14 waterpark complexes at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi.
Currently under construction, the waterpark is located on 15 hectares next to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open to the public in the fourth quarter of 2012. WhiteWater have been commissioned to supply almost 20 waterpark attractions, which will include some of their latest innovations.

Rattler™ MEGAtube™ waterslide
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi will have the first Rattler™ MEGAtube™ waterslide (above), with twists and turns to shake up riders as the "rattles'" shapes vary along the lengths of the cylinders.
SplashQuest™
WhiteWater are bringing SplashQuest™ to Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi. This is a world debut of the live action video game adventure in which guests play games and complete challenges throughout the waterpark, using patented waterproof AquaGlove™ or SplashBand™ technology.
“The Lost Pearl” Theme
The design concept of the Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi waterpark pays tribute to Emirati culture and the country’s pearl diving history. All the waterslides and attractions will follow the fictional adventures of ‘Dana’, a young Emirati girl searching for a legendary pea
rl, which brings prosperity to her village. WhiteWater’s attractions will be carefully themed to bring the story of “The Lost Pearl” to life. The two AquaPlay™ (above left) multi-level interactive water play structures will include detailed theming to celebrate the Emirati setting.
